Mosaic Sea Glass Postcard workshop with Mrs Mosaic

Join local mosaic artist Nicola Upton (Mrs Mosaic) for a creative and relaxing workshop inspired by the treasures of the shoreline.

A fun 2 hour workshop using found objects from the beach. You will spend some time designing a landscape mosaic picture from these objects, then mix a cement to apply to the base and then transfer your design into this. 

Feel free to bring along any found objects, small keepsakes, broken jewellery or interesting treasures you'd like to incorporate into your piece, making it even more personal.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, and all materials will be provided. Refreshments will also be available throughout the session.

Please note: Your finished mosaic will still be wet at the end of the workshop and will need approximately 24 hours to fully cure before being displayed. Once cured, it can be placed outdoors.

Street parking is limited. Hadleigh Rectory Road Car Park is approximately a 2-minute walk away.

This workshop has been generously funded by Essex Community Foundation, allowing us to offer places free of charge.
